Daily maintenance of pure water equipment
1. In the daily maintenance of pure water equipment, the regular replacement of the PP filter in the security filter is the most common thing to do. The PP filter is usually replaced once every 30 days or so. If the time is too long and the PP filter is not replaced, it may cause a small water output and affect the water supply at the back end.
If the pre-treatment filter is manually flushed, it needs to be manually flushed regularly.Generally, quartz sand filters are flushed once every 2 days, and activated carbon filters are flushed once every 3 days. For softened resin time-based filters, regeneration is performed according to the set time.(If the pre-treatment is fully automatic, manual flushing is not required.)
When the pure water equipment is working, the operating data needs to be recorded in the pure water equipment checklist to facilitate the follow-up tracking of the cause of the problem.
4. No need to adjust any valve during the normal operation of the pure water equipment, as the valves have been adjusted at the initial stage, and manual adjustment of the valves may cause equipment malfunction.
5. During the initial operation of the pure water equipment, check whether there is any leakage or seepage at each valve and connection point;repair any problems found in a timely manner.

Common sense of routine maintenance for pure water equipment
Through our years of experience in maintaining pure water equipment, we have summarized some common knowledge about equipment maintenance for your reference:
1. It is recommended to replace the PP filter element in the security filter every 30 days or so (there are two specifications of filtration accuracy: 5 microns and 1 micron).
2. It is recommended to replace the filter material of the reverse osmosis pre-treatment filter (quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, softening filter) once a year.
3. It is recommended to replace the RO membrane every 2-4 years (depending on the on-site usage and maintenance conditions).
4. The need to replace the anion and cation resins in a mixed bed is generally determined based on the age of the resins and the quality of the water after regeneration.Replacement is generally recommended when regeneration becomes increasingly frequent and the quality of the water after regeneration differs significantly from the original water quality.Specific circumstances also need to be analyzed based on the on-site water quality and usage conditions.
5. Polishing mixed bed resin generally needs to be replaced regularly after about 8 to 12 months of use.The polishing mixed bed equipment is to ensure that the final water production reaches 18 megohms.
The above is just our experience, and the water quality and usage conditions in each region are different.
